Charcoal grill with traditional wood-fired oven

Charcoal grill with traditional wood-fired oven and countertops with sink in Drosia Evoias, Greece. In a great place, specially designed and built with stone, we placed the charcoal grill with the traditional oven in a dark gray color. The space has been properly designed for a large group of guests and many grilling sessions! Process

Our customer’s order was sent by a moving company and a crane truck was used to approach the installation’s location. The traditional wood-fired oven is constructed with fire-plates of 4 cm on the base of the chamber. Under the fire-plates, there is a 3 cm layer of firesand, where they are placed freely (without adhesion) for better temperature behavior. This way, due to the firesand layer, we get high heat accumulation and better insulation. As a result, the base’s cement of the traditional oven is being protected from high temperature.  Firesand is also placed above and around the wood-fired oven’s dome in order to achieve these parameters.

The charcoal grill is large and it can take two whole lambs and spit-roast (kontosouvli) or “kokoretsi” on two spits at the same time. It can also take up to 17 small spits or on fewer small spits and on the grilling grate at the same time. We can even grill on a spinning grilling grate.

The charcoal grill and the traditional wood-fired oven are surrounded by auxiliary countertops with a sink, which is necessary every time you want to use your charcoal grill or cook in the traditional wood fired oven.
